We bought 9-ply Thickness: 9/16" Width: 5" Length: 48"engineered wood flooring and now are trying to figure out which glue to buy from our local Floor and Decor.

http://www.flooranddecoroutlets.com/wood-adhesives.html

Will the Roberts 1404 be ok or should I move up to the Roberts 1407?

What is the difference?

Concrete sub-floor is 15 years old. Ground is a few feet above sea-level.

Thanks for any advice or opinions.

I definitely would suggest checking the moisture content of the concrete if you have not already. We use Bosticks best for glue down installations.
Assuming I don't have a moisture problem, is it really worth it to buy the $200 for 5 gal of Bostik's Best vs. the $66 for 4 gal of Roberts 1407?

Big price difference. I'd be willing to pay this difference if it was worth it.

**edit** - manufacturer said 1408 should be fine.

**edit again** - i'm just going to buy the Bostik's Best. Might as well pay the extra 30 bucks more per bucket for peace of mind.
