Anyone know which romex/wires are the power from the circuit breaker in
this schematic and which wires are going to the next bunch of switches at a different entrance???

In the image below, you don't see the gang of 3 Lutron Diva Dimmer switches,
but I can tell you that the power is going INTO one of these two 3 way switches........AND one of the wires in the layout image below are the power wires going to the NEXT switches (the Lutron Diva switches not shown).

Please help!!!!! :biggrin2::surprise:

Looks to me like each of those switches has its own power. It should be the black wire from the 14/2. It should be landing on a black color screw on the switch.

The power should be going to the dimmers on the black or red wire of the respective 14/3 wire, depending on the position of the switch. A 3 way does not turn the power off. It simply diverts it to the other traveller. When both ends are on the same traveller the light is on. When the switches on either end are on opposite travellers, the light is off.

You best bet is to disconnect those black wires (from 14/2) and then turn the power on. Test from the black to ground with a volt meter. If 120v, that's your power feed. If no power, your power feed might be at the dimmer end.

You can leave the grounds out of your drawings and just say "ground wires omitted", it makes them easier to read.

That diagram does not show one source of power. Both switches have have their own source or it is coming from the other end.

Thanks.

Here is the wiring diagram for the other three Lutron Diva Switches
at the other entrance which I failed to include in my first post.

Does this help anyone understand which two are the power wires (or which ONE is the power wire)?

I can tell you in this new image below, the 14/3 wire on the all the way to the RIGHT (the one from the circuit breaker), had written on the wires sheathing "Power".

:smile:Thank you!

If both switches are receiving their own individual power wires which are coming from the OTHER ENTRANCE SWITCHES (see new diagram below), and my goal is to remove the two 3 way switches (from the image in my first post in this thread), after I disconnect, remove, and throw away the two three way switches in question, which wires do I need to connect together regarding the two three way switches so that the power and function of the other three switches at the other entrance are not interrupted? I need to keep the power flow permanent in a permanent "ON" wiring setup. If I could, I would leave these two three way switches in the "ON" position and enclose them inside the wall, but we know that I just can't do that. The reason why I am doing such a crazy thing (by removing the two three way switches permanently) is because I am installing a one piece dimmer ( Lutron Grafik Eye QS - see image of it below - which by the way, I already installed...) and the two of the room's "zones" will only work if the two three way switches are "ON" as far as the Grafik Eye is concerned).
