Hello all. This outlet in the water heater bay of my RV (Prevost) is showing open neutral but reading 125 v from the hot line to what I assumed to be the ground slot. Does anybody know the model number of this outlet or style? Just trying to figure out if its wired right, or if the conventional outlet tester is showing a false open neutral. Thanks

I doubt the issue is with the receptacle; unless this is the only thing showing an open neutral.

But since you asked - 20 amp 5891 (brown non-tamper) T5020 (brown tamper)

This is probably its own circuit and has no connections except at the receptacle and at the panel. Check the panel connection and possibly the spade on the receptacle end is loose.

The "T" is the neutral. Those 3-lamp testers have stickers on them explaining what the lights mean. The stickers are usually wrong, and often wildly wrong.

However an "open neutral" is a real possibility; given it seems pretty well-attached there, I'd be looking inside the service panel at the neutral bar.
