Where to install soft-close pistons

Hi everyone

I have several of the soft-close pistons from Unisoft Grass company for my kitchen cabinets.

I am just wondering if it matters whether I install them on the hinge side at the top or at the bottom. Seems like it should matter, but what is considered common practice?

Any other tips anyone has from installing these would be welcomed as well.

Thanks guys.

I didn't see it in the directions got. It showed a picture of it up there, but I was just wondering if there is any reason not to put them in the bottom corner, that's all. Never hurts to ask advice from people with more knowledge and they are designed such that it could go either way.
