I am making a pull up bar and needed to cut one end of 1" steel pipe that I got from home depot but now I want to thread the end
Where can I get this done?
A Plumber could do it, or check to see if your local Ace Hardware can do it. Also, you can rent a pipe threader from places like Home Depot, and do it yourself.
Normally, I have HD cut and thread the pipe when I buy it. Like was said above, most Ace Hardware stores can do it. Just call first to make sure that particular Ace has a pipe threader.

I've gone back in to HD with pipe I had already bought there and had it cut and threaded, just go in and let the greeter know what you're doing and then go to the plumbing department, then go back out by the greeter. One time the greeter just said he'd still be there and recognize me, another time they gave me some sort of sticker.
