The spring latch of my old door lock is broken. I went to home depot bought a new lock but the spring latch comes with it is too short. HD told me they don't carry the long one. Where do I buy the long spring latch door lock? I'm not sure if I use the correct term so here is the picture of what I am talking about.

Just google your local locksmith and give them a call. My shop carries a few of each 5" backset latches all the time.
