A friend of mine is looking for some 20 amp breakers for this panel. He's unsure if FPE breakers are even the same so he's asked me to help.

Anyone know where to possibly find some breakers for this panel?

They look like bolt-on breakers to me. Are bolt-ons also called stab-locks?

I Mis typed and failed to proof read. Those breakers are most definitely NOT stab lock like the inpectapedia link.

My buddy, who is an electrician, who was the one looking for the breakers, says they are Bolt-In breakers. He's just never seen them before. He's got other family members that are electricians and he told me none of them had heard of Federal Electric Products Co ... and they're all wondering if it's just Federal Pacific by another name.

Crabjoe those old panels were a work of art. You can also find the breakers on Amazon. Is that corrosion on the three lugs at the bottom?

I really have no idea what the actual condition of the panel might be.. The pic was sent to me, from a friend, to try and locate breakers for it..

The issue is trying to find the Bolt in breakers. Everything sold these days are just the standard non-bolt FPE replacement.

I wonder how hard that it would be to just pull the panel and put in a GE or QO panel.
