Help! I am very DIY challenged. I am trying to find something preferably very unique in peel and stick flooring. Preferable something that does not require me to line up or match lines as I am a horrible DIY'er. I would love a solid ro close to solid turquioise, brilliant blue, seafoam, aqua or something of that color if not I guess a black marble look would work and then I could put a kitchen carpet by the sink for splash. I live in Edmonton Canada. And maybe I am bad at researching but did not find anything really on Wayfair or Amazon or the big box stores - Home Depot, Rona/Lowes, Walmart or Ikea. I have a staycation coming up well due to covid 19 so here's my chance. Even a place that could take my idea would be fine. Alternatively does someone have any other ideas ie like huge rubber mat? or if you could find that "garage" flooring in a large mat or mats? in bright colors or even black? Better yet chrome or turquoise.

Peel and stick is one of the last type flooring's I'd ever suggest to anyone for anything!
There's a PIA to install, to install them right you would have to install 1/4" multi ply plywood first, there very hard to lay down and keep a straight line because they stick so fast, even if installed right some will come loose over time.
When someone does remove them at some point there going to be stuck with a gooey mess from the glue left on the floor.

Thanks Joecaption. I should explain. I live a rather odd place and I am making do. The kitchen floor is like five feet by 10 feet. (rectangle) and reall is a sheet of metal that has oxidized and been scratched up over 20 years. I am looking for an inexpensive update/fix up. The floor can't be repolished well it coul but it is such a mess I odn't want the hassle. So if I hve like a faux marble or something that doens't needs to be lined up I could just follow metal sheet. Tthe altrantive is one or two large mats - i am thinking something for like garages. I am going outside the box. It is on top of hardwood so I am liited as I definitely can't use real tile.

#1, No one here has a clue where on the planet you live because there's no location in your profile to help make suggestions on what or where to buy something.
#2, I'm also betting also no almost no one's ever heard of anyone having a metal floor unless your living in a shipping container.
You can buy loose lay linoleum flooring that does not need to be glued down.
Or vinyl strip flooring, both are easy to install with simple tools and 100% water proof.

Thanks I did not know you could buy linoleum like that. I also did some research and I could a large "rubber" mat like for garage floors or click together garage flooring. I was aware of vinyl floring but I was going for an unusual look. I mentioned I live in Edmonton, Canada (Alberta)

Probably 12 years ago we wanted a quick upgrade to our small bathroom at the farmhouse. I found some at Home Depot that were about 24x12 and had approx 1" male-female adhesive strips on the edge (like a lap joint). I tried a couple of Google search strings but couldn't find them - maybe they don't make them anymore. The adhesive is very tacky so care was needed. They wore well and lasted until we sold.

If you can't keep a straight line, you might be in trouble.
