Where can I find info on landscaping in front of a wrap-around porch?

I recently built a new house with a wrap-around country porch. I do not have a green thumb so I need "easy to keep alive" landscaping.

you own or work for "all states landscaping" service, your nick SAYS landscaping, but you're here asking us?
shouldn't WE be asking YOU about this?
i'm confused.... however, pictures and/or dimensions of the area would help if you truly need advise.
