What Sealed Lead Acid battery can I use for my Snapper Rear Engine Riding Lawn Mower with a 9 HP Briggs and Stratton Engine
I bought a used Snapper Rear Engine Mower with a Briggs and Stratton 8 hp engine for $100 and the engine seized so I bought a another used Snapper for $50 (similar to the first mower) with a 9 hp Briggs and Stratton Engine with electric start that runs good
I plan to put replacement 9 hp engine on the first mower but I would like to find out what Sealed Lead Acid battery I should buy for it
It recommends a battery with at least 165 Cold Cranking Amps
I saw a new Sealed Acid Battery for sale (for $30) 12 volts 18 AH -270 Cold Cranking Amps and I could use my BatteryTender Jr with it to keep a charge
Will this battery work?
Any suggestion you have would be helpful
Thanks
Mike
