what R -value insulation is exceptable Baltimore, M.D.
For Walls, ceiling, & 2 bedrooms in attic?.
By code or recommended?

The house is a very old one
& I will use thee cheapest type of insulation I can find.
What would you recommend.

You can ask your building dept for your specifics, but you can go to any fiberglass manufacturers website's to get the regional recommendations.

Most codes now require R38 in new construction. What you do in an old house is up to you. The better the insulation, the less you send to the utilities, and the more comfortable the house will be. But that includes better windows, doors that seal out air, wall insulation, etc.
