Ayuh,.... Get a couple of Thermometers, 'n See whether the T-stats are Right, or wrong....1. The reason I want to replace them is because A. they look old, B. I don't know if they are working right. I have my heat on and the temps read higher than it is. for example, in my basement it will feel cold (feels like high 60's) but my t-stat will say something crazy like 72F. So then I have to crank it to 73+ to turn the furnace on. Once heat comes on, the t-stat will say its 75F but it doesn't feel like it. Then i have crank it to 76+ for it to come on. The temp just seems off. Will new t-stats help?
