What do you think this white plastic pipe is sticking out of my basement floor?

Also what do you think this pink foam is going along the entire edge of my

basement floor? (the photo shows a lot of sewage that spilled onto the pink
stuff, so it is therefore hard to see - we had a pipe break and sewage from
a kitchen sink came out which is why we busted open the drywall to find

what you see here).

In photo labeled "#2" you can see another white plastic type of pipe coming out of the floor as well.

The previous owner of my home stated that there is a french drain around the entire basement room, but is this 1.5" crevice considered a french drain?

If it is a french drain, I must say, the 1.5" crevice is the weakest french drain I've ever seen.

Hard to say for sure without an idea of the whole house layout, but the pipe in the first pic looks like Pex. So that would be a water supply of some side. Is there another end to it somewhere, like in a mechanical room or something? Or does the house have HW radiators, and maybe this is a rough in for a future radiator. The second pic shows what looks like a PVC pipe, likely a drain which goes into the slab to tie into the underslab plumbing. The pink foam must be insulation to provide a thermal break to the outside.
