This old wiring box, I assume is old PHONE system? It has one wire going into it from my recently uninstalled ATT internet system (ground?)...I wanna just toss the whole thing, but afraid its electrical of some sorts?
ANyone know?

It does look like an older NID for phone service. If it is not being used, it can be abandoned, but make sure it is not connected to your new service. I doubt it is.

That is an old connection for a land line telephone. If you have no land line phone it can be removed.
