Hello All,

Brand new to the forums.

I have a piece of this trim in my kitchen and I have a cap for one end but not the other end. I just want to know what the cap is called as searching under cap doesn't seem to bring up any results.

Can anyone help give this piece a name so I can find a replacement? A lovely tenant pulled it off and disposed of it apparently and its left an ugly hole in the kitchen. I essentially need the reverse end of the one I have or anything else that would fit in its place. The odd shape of the trim is making it hard to find.

Any help, much appreciated!

I don't really have a clue what it would be called. What is it used for? Are you located in the US?

That base piece secured to the wall has the letters "SX" in the middle try googling that.

Looks like two screws securing it. Remove it and take it to a local hardware store, maybe someone there will know what it is. If it's not need any longer, and you can't find a replacement; Remove it, patch the hole in the wall, and repaint wall. Just a couple suggestions.

Hang in there, someone here may be able to ID it for you.

It took me a second to figure out what I was looking at. I think... the first two pictures are front and back of the cap that goes on the end of the extruded aluminum channel in the third picture... correct?

What is that channel used for? Is it part of an assembly for something? Extruded channels like that are specifically made for manufacturers so this may be something you need to order from who-ever made it.
