I am finishing our basement and about to trim out the bifold closet doors in the bedroom.

I am trying to match the same type of trim the builder used on our upstairs bifold closets, it has a chamfered edge and looks like it starts from about an inch thick and tapers down, to help hide the gap between the bifold doors and the wall.

I can't use a piece of 1x stock because the gap is still visible and bigger than 3/4 inch.

Any idea what this is called or do you think the finish carpenter custom cut the chamfer on it?

A couple pics are attached

Probably custom made. How close is the closet you need to trim out to the others?
What do you mean by "how close"?

The closet I have to trim out is almost exactly identical in size to the ones upstairs - 4' with drywall returns.

However the ones upstairs are 4' with drywall returns but then they "faux" trimmed out just the exterior of the closet return I am assuming just to hide the bifold door gaps, and when building the basement closet I figured I would just mimic how they did the ones upstairs but now that I am trimming everything I ran into the problem of finding something similar that will work.

I can attach a pic of the close I need to trim if that helps?

What I was getting at is as long as the closets aren't side by side you don't have to have identical trim. As long as it's similar most folks won't notice small differences.
Ahh I see what you mean, yea I am fine with using something different I just don't know what to use. Any ideas? Here are a couple pics of the closet I need to trim out.

Notice how the 1x isn't thick enough to completely cover that gap, which would be ideal.
