My insurance company is refusing to total my roof out, We had 2 major hail storms in the past 12 months. Everyone in my neighborhood got their roofs totaled out, except for me. My next door neighbor got her roof totaled twice from the 2 storms. Our houses are same age, same builder, and same material.
The hail even put a 3" wide hole straight through the shingles and wood, Busted window, and other damage.

That paid me to have a few shingles replaced and thats about it.

Heres a few pictures..Notice the small black spots where the granule is gone, The adjuster said that was from the sun.

What else can I do with the insurance company? They only want a few shingles replaced!

Firstly, request a second opinion from a new claims adjuster from your insurance company.

Who are they, by the way?

If you still are unsatisfied, use the "Appraisal" clause in your policy to hold an impartial Appraisal Hearing.

Select a well known established roofing contractor from your area who is familiar with the intricacies of fighting for your claim to be satisfied.
