are the start and run capacitors in a control box for a well pump innerchangable? my electrician put an orange wire on the run capacitor that is shown in the electical shematics to go to the start capacitor. the pump ran fine yesterday but today it won't start and trips the main overload in the control box.

They would be interchangeable only if they are the same size. In my experience, most of them have different values and as such would not be interchangeable.
