I have a 94"x24" shelf coming out of a corner and it has a 2x4 40" long tied into the celling . It is all made out of 2x4's and plywood. I need to know how much weight it can support like it is and the formula on how you got that answer. Please email me at [email protected] . That you very much

Welcome michael3742, to the best DIY'r site on the web.

Even being the best site on the web a question like yours may draw some real comments not unlike, just stack it on there til it breaks.

What you are asking for is completely unreasonable, and with the information you provided, not even an astrophysicist could give you the answer you are looking for, and if they could, the calculation would far exceed the inteligence level of 99% of the current population of the USA.

That being said, it will hold as much weight as it takes before it breaks.
