Weeping
My wife loves weeping willows. I know their roots are invasive. What is the MINIMUM distance I would plant a weeping willow from water lines?

I love weeping willows and had one growing up. The roots will mess up walkways, driveway and pipes etc. We had it at the edge of the road away from everything and never had a problem. I am currently thinking of planting one but it will be on the far side of my house away from everything.
Another option is a weeping cherry tree which is far less invasive.
