Good morning everyone,
Can someone please help me identify what kind of weed is taking over my yard and want can I do to kill it.

Ayuh,... That's white clover,.....

It ain't a weed in my book,.... 'ell, I spike my grass seed with white clover,....

The clover stays green long after the lawn turns my favorite lawn color, brown,....

Yep. That's clover. It fixes nitrogen and is actually good for the grass. They used to intentionally put clover seeds in grass seed mixes before heavy use of synthetic fertilizers. Hit it with a broad leaf herbicide and fertilize regularly going forward.
