just installed a new front door..the very top of door is not compressing weatherstripping, and you can barely see light. The sides and bottom are good. What kind of weatherstripping could i use on the very top. Its just a plain steel door from home depot..looks like i should have gotten a better brand. I put a piece of foam weatherstripping on it for now, but i dont think it will last long

Thanks

The door was not correctly installed. You should start over and do it right. It should be plumb/level all around, and hit the weatherstripping evenly all the way around. Rather than nail the door, I use screws, so I can makes adjustments if needed.

it shows to be plumb and level , actually spent alot of time to make sure...also used screws, not sure what the deal is,i have installed doors before, but this is the first time i have ran across this. Its like the factory weatherstripping on the top(knob side) is deformed.
