Trying to think of a way to weatherproof the pergola I built so I can enjoy a drink when it's cold outside. I was planning to buy a fire pit or propane heaters but I have installed a corrugated plastic roof so I just want to make sure it doesn't melt. Looking for ideas to close the sides and front that will be easily removable when spring comes.

Neal's suggestion is a good one. Just make sure you don't let alot of snow build up on top of it. Pergolas aren't generally sufficient for a roof with significant loading.
He can keep the fire going.
These are good for deflecting heat down, it did not melt the vinyl soffit 1 ft above it.
