My new house gables has solid wood corbels that has the back goes past the plywood sheath into the attic. What would be an option to airtight the gap around the corbel. My builder are giving me a few options (metal flashing with caulking, peel stick membrane,etc..) but I am worried that wind driven rain will still get in.
The house will have 1 inch exterior foam with stucco.
I would like to know what options do I have?
