im working on a modification to my car. i've added a LED to the inside of a cupholder. what kind of waterproofing method can i apply to prevent water from seeping thru the sides of the red LED?

hopefully something that is transparent to apply to the base of the cupholder.

Clear silicone caulk, clear epoxy, etc.
