I have water tank 40ft vertical drop with 1.25 inch supply pipe which should generate 17psi. What will the water pressure be if I reduce to 1/2 inch at end of supply line
I really have no science behind my answer but my guess is that the psi in a static system (no flow) would be the same value as the same amount of water is being held back in the tubing so the mass is the same at the same height.
