Greetings! I am an independent insurance adjuster. I just inspected a 1976 manufactured home on a claim where the particle board underlayment has begun to decompose in the bedroom, bathroom and living room. BEAR WITH ME - there is a siding question!! I found some water under the bathroom, which explains that room's issues, but I don't know why the flooring is falling apart in the other rooms, other than perhaps age, coastal moisture (Along the Olympic Peninsula in Washington) and lack of maintenance of the roof and old aluminum windows. I found blistering on the exterior cladding on 2 elevations of the dwelling, also. I would like to note in the report the cause of the blistering, but I don't really know what the cause is! I have attached photos that I took of the blistering. I threw the underlayment info in there, just in case y'all had a thought on that, as well!
Cheers!!
Cheers!!
