Flood water knocked out my Rheem Guardian Fury natural gas water heater.
The pilot light is out. The water did not get any higher than that. What do I need to replace

The water heater if the water reached the insulation.

The gas valve assembly on the tank. If they get flooded, they're pooched.

If it will relight and burn nice and blue then you are good to go.

I would give it a week to dry out before trying to restart it.
