Are there whole house filtration / softeners that do not use salt tabs?


What brands do you prefer?


Would have to install outside (mild climate) or a lot of piping and could get to garage. House is on a slab.

There are many out there. Search 'no salt water softener'. No experience with them so no help there. A softening and filtration are two different functions - if you want both, you will need both equipment.
