How do I remove the timer from a Whirlpool Washer with Model LSR6232LQ0? I have tried turning the knob counter clockwise and it just ratchets and will nott loosen. Also how do I remove the top after I have the knobs off from the timer, fill level and temperature setting?

Gently pull the knob forward and you will likley find a set of screws behind it to remove the timer.

No set screw either..... I have the Knob then a clear plastic piece that covers the arrow that turns to show what cycle the machine is at. Does the knob just pull off, or could it be jammed or stripped out? If this is the case, any suggestions to help me remove the knob?
