Will the inspector have an issue with a washing machine draining into the utility sink? (hooked over hose) The drain line in the utility sink is 2".

I am also installing a "supply box" for the washer.
I am doing a bathroom/kitchen romedel, including changing from galvanized to copper water supply lines. I dont want to change any of the vent piping.

however a plumbing inspection is required, so i was hoping to have a heads up.

Do you know who you need to contact to get the inspection done? If so, I would just call and ask them about it before they come out.

In new/updated plumbing the washing machine must have it's own drain---I don't know if that is a loal code or national--
