I've been working on a basement remodel for a long time (I have next to no free time and even less $$$ so it was very slow going), but the great news is I am in the final stages! All that's left is to hang closet shelves and the doors and I'm done!!

I wanted to say thanks to a lot of the members on here for lots of good advice...how to properly insulate, framing methods, fireblocking, etc. It helped me to do the job right!

Wish I'd taken more "before" shots!! I'll see if I can get some pics up when I finish. Right now I have tools everywhere and the room is a big mess.

Like so many other projects, this one started as a small weekend job. It ended up costing thousands and taking over a year.

Nice to hear of your success. So many times I wonder how something turned out but the original poster disappears, never to be heard from again. Those who offered up advice are left wondering if their direction was of any use or not.
