The lights are in my kitchen and living area and all have a 4-pin base. I would like to convert to LED. Big Orange has these: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...R=202753463&catEntryId=202753463#.URfgDlqLyd8

I bought one and the light seems to be good, but how should I go about installing it? can I get some type of converter? I asked at big orange and the guy assured me they don't have any adaptors.

Am I better off changing out the whole socket? I would prefer not to do that? Should I look for some LED light bulbs with 4-pin bases and just settle on that?

I'm open to ideas and appreciate all the help in advance. Thanks!

By 4 pin base, I'm assuming your cans take some sort of fluorescent twin tube type lamp. If I'm correct, you will not be able to convert these cans to those LED trims. You will need to change out the can in order to use them.
