I want to ad about 4ft x 16 ft worth of storage in my crawlspace attic. I would likely use 2inch foam with 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch plywood on top. Is there any reason that my attic construction type wouldnt support the added weight of storage? It is 2x6 framing, the span is about 22 ft across from eave to eave. We would likely be putting clothes and unused kids toys up there, nothing really heavy but defintely some weight. Here is a pic of the attic ...
