I have a whirlpool top load washer, maybe ten years old. It is dead level all directions....yet at the end of virtually laundry cycle is has moved six to eitght inches pin one direction or the other? Thoughts? Ron

I take it that it hasn't always done this or you would have had warranty work.

Try running it on spin cycle without being loaded, just lowest water setting, and after it gets up to speed open the lid and see if it is running concentric or eccentric.

did you do anything recently such as move it out? Tipped it back to clean underneath? New vinyl or tile floor? Sometimes suspension springs rust and break, is it banging on the sides when it spins?
