I had an electrician come out an put in a wall outlet for my mounted tv. Everything was going fine until I was watching tv and my wife turned the kitchen lights out and the tv went off with them. So coincidentally we are putting dimable lights in the kitchen. If I put a dimmer switch in and leave it on and lower the brightness of the lights will the tv be affected? Or am I just better off having the electrician come back out to fix his mistake.

Thanks!

Find another electrician. Seriously the electrician you hired doesn't have a clue and his work probably isn't safe.
