I'm putting up a chair rail with some faux frames under it. But one of the frames has to go through an outlet. My only idea is to return the frame into the wall on either side of the outlet, any other ideas out there? Pictures would be great. Thanks

Adjust the frame pattern to avoid the outlet.
Move the outlet.
Eliminate the outlet.

Personally I would make a box for each outlet that extends the outlet from the wall allowing you to run the wall frames right into it. Looks more natural/professional IMO. You'll need a plastic receptacle extender(as seen in my first pic), Home Cheapo and Blowe's have them. Just make sure the wood is as deep as the thickness of the frames you're using.
