I want to install wainscoting (similar to the look below) in my dining room. The problem is that I have plaster walls and I think this will make this project a nightmare. I've had mixed results using a nail gun on my plaster walls before so I am not sure how to tackle this.


Any ideas or suggestions?

No More Nails works really well.

1/2 mdf sheets on over plaster and nail to the studs. 3/4 mdf for rails and styles.

With 1 1/4 nails I assume to connect the stiles to the sheets? Anything longer would hit the plaster.

Yes. The nails will go through the plaster btw
