I use Irfanview 4.2 viewer, & Picasa 3

When Problem occurred:
Started to edit a folder with 3 Laser Level Pics I discovered MS had changed my default viewer to Windows Photo Gallery. Before I had a chance to change the default back to Irfranview, some how I displayed the 3 laser pics as a Photo Gallery collage.

Problem:
Now I cannot get rid of the collage and my Desktop background is now all White where before it was a green & blue Vista Screen.

Everything else still works OK. I pulled up Task Manager- It showed no programs running in "Applications". Turned computer On & Off with no change. I have never done a System restore & I'm afraid to try it because I think I'll have to do an Image restore rather than just restoring some data files.

Any help will be appreciated

Repaired Desktop Background

I thought there were two problems

• Photo Gallery image
• desktop background

There was only one problem. Somehow I made the Photo Gallery collage my Vista Desktop Background.

To fix it I went to:
Control Panel>Personalization>Desktop Background

as soon as I clicked on the right MS image, I got it back

heh... my desktop only has 2 icons , and is all white with this graphic in the middle. cool you got yer prob fixed.
