I have a vinyl floor on concrete slab that transitions into a util room and a closet that have glued vinyl strip transitions that are coming up. What's the best way to repair these? Here is a pic of one of them. It looks too ragged to reglue the thing. So I was thinking of getting low profile aluminum "splice transitions and drilling the concrete to accept plastic inserts then screwing it down. Is this a good way to go?
