I have a basement that has concrete floors,not looking to raise height too much as it would throw off bottom step rise,which is currently 7 1/4 inches.Would a GREATMATS lock in vinyl tile system,which is only 1/2 or 5/8 inch high,be a good option? Has anyone used these in a basement? Do they look good or cheesy,as this is a walkout waterview basement,I want it to look semi-professional,thanks in advance for your inputs.
