I am having a new concrete slab poured on my driveway. Once finished I want to install a 5x5 vinyl fence post on top of the slab. It just so happens that part of the slab will be over a poured concrete retaining wall 2' high. So my fence post will be on top of a concrete slab which is on top of a wall. Any recommendations on what to do prior to or after they pour the slab to mount the fence post?

Need a picture so we can see what your seeing.
Just mounting it to the top of the slab is not going to work, not strong enough.

This is the top of the cement wall. The slab will be poured 5" thick on top of this.

Ayuh,.... Set a 5x5 ID steel tube in to grade, 'n pour round it,....

Tie the tube to the existin' concrete, 'n to the rebar in the new pour,...

Drop in the fence post,....
