I'll be using VersaBond fortified thin-set mortar for ceramic tile installation over newly installed hardiebacker in the shower. Now that I've finished taping the seams with Fiba cement board tape, I would assume the cement board tape can also be overlayed with this product as well prior to tiling, correct? Just want to be sure I'm using the correct product for covering the Fiba tape. Tks.

Read the Harding’s info on possible need to hit the board with a wet sponge before applying thinset due to its propensity to suck water from the cement. Ron
