Hi everyone, forgive me if this is the wrong forum. I have an unwanted ceramic or porcelain (can't tell which) figurine of a baby's face in our shower. It's kinda creepy-looking. The rest of the shower is ceramic tile.

Any ideas on how to remove the figurine? From what I can tell, there's ceramic tile behind it so it shouldn't leave a hole in the wall.

Can I just get a drill and drill it out with drill bits?

I think I would attack it with a multi saw, worst case just replace the tile behind it.

I'd plan on replacing the tile behind it as it's doubtful [even if it does come off] that the tile will look decent.

This is a good time to buy one. You can get one for less than $50. As a homeowner, tools are part of the job, so build your collection one tool at a time.

I am sure you could do some serious damage with a drill. Nothing wrong with trying it. :biggrin2: I would start with a hammer and just tap at the lumpy parts. Protect the tub while you do this.

As big as it is and how it sticks out I'd be surprised if it's just 'glued' to the tile. I'd expect there would be holes in the tile so that piece of 'art' would have extra help to hold it in place. It's possible it's part of that tile. Definitely unique!
