It has come to my attention that a few of our walls ceiling lines are not striaght. There is a little dip in the line for about 18 inches. (It sags a bit to the left of the speaker) Then it comes back up to meet the adjoining wall.

Whats the easiest way to minimize this look?

Hard to tell the cause from the picture but it is obvously there. Could be that joist is low? Is so it you would need to fir the rest. Or too much mud was placed in that area. A long level spanning 3-4 joists prior to rocking will be your best bet.

Thanks for the response... Can you put that in layman's terms? Lol.. this is my first home and Im very green when it comes to this stuff.... : )

MinConst is probably right. One of your joists looks low. Those are the board that are above your ceiling. Looks like you have the same color there which is actually the best thing to hide an imperfection like that. Anything you will do to it like do two different colors or add some crown will only make it look worse. The true fix is to rip out the ceiling and fix the joist but that could be costly.

I was afraid of that. I just want to minimize the look as much as possible. Could I basically re-mud the right side a little bit to make the line look more staight across?
