Underwriter Knot on Lamp Socket Cord

I just replaced a 3 way lamp socket and used a regular granny knot on the cord. Should I redo it with an underwriter knot? Not sure how important it is. This lamp has two restraint bushings. One where cord enters base and another where cord enters socket. That cord ain’t going anywhere. Maybe I do not need any knot? Thanks.
