The downspouts on one side of my house were no longer draining to the curb. It was obvious that the underground pipe had collapsed. The culprit seems to have been the large tree in that area and its roots. We had a drainage company come out to replace it. He dug up the yard and went around the tree roots and put in new pipe about two weeks ago. Since then there has been a lot of mud and muddy water coming out the end at the curb. Is this normal? I would think that if the pipe is a completely enclosed system, the water running through it would be mud-free. Thanks in advance for any comments.
