Are TXV valves a generic item or does each Major HVAC equipment manufacture make them especially for their units? The part numbers seem to have dash numbers 01, 02, 03 etc. is this a standard sizing? For example does a Goodman recommended TXV-02 correspond to a Air Ease dash O2 valve? I am going to install a 1 1/2 T heat pump and have seen both TXV-01 and -02 recommended.

Thanks
JM

Different manufacturers use different numbering systems. Also, some use Chaleff, others don't.
