TXV needed for new install?

I'm about to have a goodman 3ton 13 seer condenser and coil installed.

Goodman sells a TXV as an optional upgrade for this coil -- is it worth paying extra for one?

TXV will keep the temperature more stable but can break.

I suggest you spring for the extra money and get the SSR seer 14 goodman. Has many upgrades, pressure switches, sound blanket over the compressor. Much quieter.
