Hi guys I got a quick question abut the bathroom i'm redoing. I"M just about finished installing durorock in my tub shower, now my question is I plan to use Redgard as a waterproofer membrain, do i use thinset or mastic for the 6x6 porcelen tiles? right now its studs-durorock-regard-thin set tiles right?

Thin set. Mastic is not for wet areas.

Absolutely, thinset, modified thinset to be more specific.

Fasten the Durock per instructions, tape and thinset all seams. Apply at least 2 coats of liquid membrane, then tile away.

Jazman, that was the plan just wanted to make sure. Just got done hanging all the drywall and durorock. Just need to grap thethin set and tape
